Individuals with depression, anxiety, burn-out, grief, life transition problems, social anxiety, low self esteem, emotional eating and nutritional and body weight problems. Counseling and coaching for Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) issues, for developing career and/or creative processes (artists, designers and other creative talents), for students, both adolescents and young adults. In addition, relationship counseling is a large part of my practice, for partners as well as family and work relationships.

About me

Current President of the NAAP, I began my study of Jungian psychology in 1989 and have trained in California, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, earning my certification as Jungian Analyst in 2003. In private practice in the Netherlands for 17 years, I have worked with a variety of nationalities and have built up extensive experience with cross-cultural issues, which is also important in relationship counseling.
My focus is helping individuals to find their own entirely unique path to solving problems and achieving personal growth. We focus not only on a person’s history, but as Jung emphasized in his concept of individuation, also on a person’s current life situation and unique personality. And keeping in mind the essential interconnection between mind and body, I use my knowledge of physiology and nutrition from my first career in medical research to support the entire person, psyche and soma, in growth and transformation processes.
